5. Boxing gloves
One of the must have items for anyone participating in boxing training. These gloves will protect your hands and allow you train intensely without any worry. They come in various sizes depending on your strength, size and the intended purpose.
4. Battle rope
A conditioning king. Exercises with battle rope will greatly improve your cardio and muscular endurance; particularly upper body. Popular in crossfit and circuit workouts, these battle rope are an inexpensive way to add variety and conditioning components to your workouts.
3. Weights – kettlebell/dumbbell
Resistance training is fantastic for building muscle and burning fat; weights are the most common form of resistance. Dumbbells can be used to add resistance to all the common exercises – chest press, squats, deadlifts, shoulder press, curls, rows. Kettlebells can be used for some more exotic but extraordinary exercises. Kettlebell swings are a fantastic exercise for the lower body and overall conditioning. Turkish get ups can also be done with kettlebells and they will test your control and stability.

Boxing focus pads plus a partner can take your boxing training to the next level. It adds variety and surprise to your workouts. You can ask your partner to lead the combos and also take swings. This gives you a more realistic experience compared to just hitting a bag. This will greatly improve your reactions, conditioning and combination execution.

Hitting the bag is a staple of boxing training; great for trying out combos, honing punches and practicing your footwork. For practicing punches, a heavy bag is particularly good for practicing power punches, whether that be your straight punches or hooks.
